You would have thought that at least one of so many obliging Blood Drinker allies would have provided me with a real meal. Frozen the packets may be, but the blood is only one step away from being dead.

I fear Lestat's sense of humour does leave a great deal to be desired, sometimes. It's only grown more deplorable in the years I've known him.

If there were to be one thing about Lestat that did not grow tedious over the years, it would only be the cut of his cheekbones.

[ asshole dad is an asshole, but you bet your last dollar his little family always looked schway. the implication is, of course, that his entire personality is lacking. ]

Alas, his looks deteriorated too, although somewhat against his will.

I'll admit: His looks recovered. He even managed a tan for a short time, though it wasn't his intention at the time.
