It's flattering that you've been thinking of me recently, but you're just wasting your time. You aren't going to find a place for an original character from a decade-old show, and even if you did, it's not going to be the same as last time. None of the friends I had made are around anymore. It's been years. You can't go home again, Mun, take it from someone who knows.

...look, I know you feel bad that you dropped me. It's okay. You gave me a happy ending in story form. But if you really want to RP, you should pick someone else. I'm sorry.

Ah, but I'm supposed to be relaying a welcome. As I understand, she remembers you very fondly and is entirely delighted to see you again.

It's nice to be remembered, thank you. My mun just wishes she knew who your mun was (although she has an educated guess).

Is there a Nexus here, in this new place? My mun has no idea where to send me. It'd be nice to see a familiar face. Not that your face isn't nice, of course! I just... y'know, I don't know you, personally.

Oh, I understand of course. It's a daunting thing to step into a whole new realm with nobody at your side.

It happens there's a Nexus I know well. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee you'll meet exactly the same people you remember - but I'm told it's much like the old Nexus, and it's certainly friendly to 'canon OCs' like us.

Tell me about it. It was hard enough for me to do it the first time.

New Caprica is my home, yes. Well... was, technically, from this side of the fourth wall. It's a long story. I'm sure I'll be repeating it plenty of times.

My mun says the exact same thing every time she pulls me out of my Viper once a year or so.

A vipor? Oh, you're from the same canon as me. That's reassuring. Is there a place where you like to go when your mun decides to dust you off for RP? I have a feeling we'd get along on the other side of the fourth wall, even though you're military and I'm a civilian.

Usually memes. But I tend to get fidgety if Lee or Sam aren't around to talk to. I'm kind of...I don't have the best luck with people.

It's hard when the people you have ties to aren't around. You're the first person from my canon that I've even seen.

I'm okay with people once we start talking. It's just getting to the talking part that's difficult for me.

My mun has seen a few but she's too nervous to introduce me to them since we're originals and she's not sure they'd actually want to play with me.

My mun has the same problem. It's hard being an OC in a quiet fandom.

We'll have to make it less hard. Well, if I can find Lee.

My mun seems committed to RPing me, so hopefully I'll see you around. Good luck finding Lee, he seems like a nice guy.

I think that's wonderful that he's your best friend. And not a Cylon.

Just that... I had a best friend, too, and he turned out to be a sleeper agent for the Cylons. A model Five. So I'm glad for you that Lee isn't one of them.

Someone I love was a Cylon. So I know how that feels.

My mun says that finding a Five around here is rarer than a hen's tooth, so I guess I'm lucky I'll never run into another copy of him.

Sam was someone amazing. I still hold out hope that I'm going to see him again someday. I might not, but - I can't give up on him.

At the point that I'm in canon currently, I don't think I could handle seeing Caspar again, let alone someone who looked just like him, but was... not nice. But I do miss him. I hope you see Sam again. That's big of you, to forgive a Cylon.

There was nothing to forgive. Sam never did anything to me except to care for me and treat me with kindness.

N-not that... Caspar didn't hurt anyone. He killed himself before that could happen. But it... it's still hard. To know that he's out there, working with the other Cylons on New Caprica.

I prefer to keep my mind on positive memories.

My mun actually enjoys where you're from. Though I don't think she's ever dragged Starbuck out. Well, she has but it's been a while. After all, you never hear a lot about the fandom.

My mun says that the fandom's heyday was only while the show was on, and that she has only seen BSG characters a handful of times since.

I've heard of Starbuck, but I've never met her personally. I don't know how much tolerance she'd have for a civilian like me.

We've only seen them a handful of times too. As for Starbuck's tolerance I think that starts and ends with Lee or Sam. But my mun says she did really good with a few others too. Long as no one steps on any toes they shouldn't.

I can't imagine I'd do ever do anything to step on Starbuck's toes. (Except maybe having a Cylon for an ex-boyfriend, but he was a sleeper agent so I hope she wouldn't hold it against me.)

Then everything would be fine. Wouldn't it? (Weren't a few on the ship sleepers too?)

I would hope so! She's done so much to help protect us from the Cylons, the last thing I'd want to do is annoy her. (There were. Too bad there isn't a support group for people who were close to sleeper agents.)

I doubt that you could really annoy her. That'd be like... well, that's a bad example. I always annoy Isaac or Derek. (There needs to be one, definitely. I'm sure Starbuck would appreciate that or Lee would.)

My mun thinks it's laughable that I could annoy anyone, except by being too worried that I'm annoying them. (If I only knew on the other side of the fourth wall who else would qualify for that sort of group... well, I'd be surprised, to say the least.)

Just one of those things, right? Could be anyone.
