On Fulton extracting EVERYTHING

Seriously?

....

Extracting vultures, mice and what? Voles? I'm trying to build an army, not a zoo. You're wasting the Boss's valuable time in Fultoning anything. Honestly, it costs GMP and our money every time you Fulton extract. [He sighed.]

No private zoo, ok? Ocelot is already silently laughing at all of this.

[That's true, yet Cipher's Skull Unit is nothing but the result of human experiments and, as much as their troops didn't match their power, he didn't agree on crossing the line. Turning into human experiments wouldn't make them any better than Skull Face or Zero himself.]

[But, on the other hand, he hears your las phras and is that a pout? Are you pouting about a bear army? Gods. He needs to stop the car right there for a moment. Are you for real? Because damn… this is both hilarious and adorable. And when did he get to understand such feelinga anyway? Not even himself gets to understand what was going on in his head.]

[He stares at you, amused at your reaction. He doesn't even hesitate when he leans close, stealing a kiss from your lips, mumbling when he leana aback:] Can't promise an army of bears for you, but I can harden our troop's training instead.

[That said, he turns on the car again, getting back to driving.]

[Kaz frowned when the Boss stopped the car and then leaned across to kiss him. He actually kissed him whilst in view of possible recruits. Kaz felt himself blush and almost felt awkward at the response but secretly loved it. He loved any kind of affection given to him by the man he trusted the most.]

Boss...that- that would be good. [He swallowed then adjusted himself in his seat, as the car began to roll along the long stretch of connecting bridge.]

[Yes, he did kiss you in sake of putting the bear army idea to an end. Also because watching you fluster is too good. Do you really think no one has noticed what goes on between them? He can't tell for sure, but he has overheard conversation between their men, and that was enough for him to tell there were rumors spread.]

[It wasn't like he minded anyway. The sooner they knew, the merrier.]

[They make their way to their first stop: the landing platform, a chopper awaiting for them to reach the Animal Conservation platform. Doesn't take them long to arrive, dawn already breaking over the horizon.] Here we are.

[Kaz looked up at the chopper and nodded. Getting in wasn't as easy as it used to be when he still had both legs. He ignored any annoyed feelings right now and managed to hoist himself up into the chopper using his crutch as an aid. He'd have to get used to it if he went on any future missions with the Boss. Not that it would be a usual thing for him in the state he was in.]

To the animal conservation platform then. [He looked at the Boss and couldn't help but admire the man's determination around everything. It gave him focus and above all; hope.]
